Scope

This page contains the Kmehrmessages for testing the interpretion of suspensions, more specifically whether the SUT calculates the correct periods in which the medication is active.

Instructions for EVS use

IMPORTANT: This test can be performed using both the original EVSc and the new version: EVS

Each test that requires an export file will contain export files for both versions.

Before starting each test, the export file mentioned at the beginning of the test should be uploaded using the EVS-action REPLACE and your own test patient.

The EVS parameter writeAsIs must be set to false.

Description:

Every of the following tests contains:

  • a link to the EVS export file
  • a schematic overview of the different cases within the test
  • a table with the expected active period(s) in which the medication must be taken

If any of the active "from" date columns contains a value, the SUT must consider the medication as active for the following periods: for every "from" column date (inclusive) until next "to" column date (inclusive). If the "to" column is empty, the medication is supposed to always remain active.

If none of the active "from" date columns contains a value, the application must not consider the medication as active at any moment in time, and it must be clear to the user or patient that the medication should never be taken.

Some applications might decide to not show medication that will never be active, which is out of scope of the test.

The active period columns must be verified on all screens or prints where the active period(s) of the medication are displayed, such as the "patiënt afdruk" or "patient print".

S03W30: Writing Treatment Suspensions Minimal Change

  1. Upload this EVS export file (EVSc) or this EVS export (EVS) using the EVS action REPLACE and your own test patient.
  2. Alter every medication in the medicationscheme by adding a dot(.) in the 'transactionreason' field of every treatment suspension.
  3. Check the results by using EVS action EXPORT and the same patient and opening the pdf that EVS generates.

Expected results

  • TS-1: The medicationscheme should have been successfully altered without losing any data.
  • No labels
